A little about me

Hi there… my name is Anna Varghese. Originally from India, I live in the Boston area with my husband, our two daughters and two cats. My formal design training is in Graphic Design. However about 6 years ago I transitioned into Environmental Design — where my focus has been creating modular / semi-permanent spaces.

I’m also finishing up my degree in Interior Design, so that I can focus exclusively on residential projects in the future. In the meantime, I hope to share tips from my own experience that might be helpful to you in your decorating / design / build process.

Having a 2D design background allows me to bring a slightly different perspective to design and home decor, which I will share through my blog posts.

Although I appreciate all design styles, I’m very much a traditionalist in my own aesthetic. However, I am also a firm believer that rules are meant to be broken. The key is know when and how to break them.

Every home — every family is different; there is no ‘one style fits all’ solution. Your home should reflect who you are, your personality and your family. The more a space is loved, the more beautiful it becomes.

Thank you for being here and following along.
